Sitemeter

Not long after I started this blog, I ran upon "Sitemeter". It is a site that keeps track of who is looking at this website (location, date, time, duration and even the internet provider). Pretty cool! With that being said, there are definitely people looking in from places that I am not aware of knowing anyone. I am so glad that you have stopped in to check on our relatively uneventful lives, but I would love to know what area of my life (or not) you come from! The two that have surprised me lately are Excelsior, Minnesota and Chongqing, China. Please, just this one time at least, leave a comment letting me know how I know you or how you stumbled upon my blog. Just curiosity, please indulge me! I know my family checks in and the people that regularly leave comments (THANK YOU!) but if this is not you, please fill me in. Thanks!

Casting Crowns- Slow Fade

Last Saturday night I was driving to pick up my things that were left after the consignment sale when I heard a song that really caught my attention. I came home and asked Matt if he had heard it before and told him that it would be great to play at Westwood sometime. I asked him what he and Greg were speaking about that Sunday. When he started telling me, I could not believe how this song would fit with the message. We went to our computer and found the link below and watched the music video for the song. He called Greg and asked him to watch it and it was played that next morning during the message. It's amazing how God puts things out there for us and I'm glad I was willing to listen that day. I hope you will take a few minutes to look at the video. I think it can have an impact on everyone that sees it.

More 18 month pictures

Gretchen and I went to the limesink to try and get some 18 month pictures of Emerson. It's definitely not easy these days. I was grateful that Gretchen was there so she could get some pictures of Emerson and I together. Thanks for your help Gretchen!

I see you! (or as she says it "I seed you")

I went back another day to try and get some more pictures and thought it might help to bring Brooks along. He really didn't help at all, but at least I got a few of them together. They are so sweet with each other right now. It is fun to watch.

Flying in Albany

Dan Gabriel rented a plane for the weekend and gave us an opportunity to fly around and get a view of Albany. It was a four seater plane, so we had to split up in groups. Nana stayed home with Emerson while she napped, so I got to see the area. I rode with Greg and Katie Beth. Greg sat in the front seat and even got the controls for a few minutes. Here are a few pictures from our flight.

Katie Beth ready to go. She didn't look this great once we flew around awhile. She had a hard time seeing out of the window, so her stomach started talking to her.

18 Month Beach Pictures

I wanted to take advantage of being at the beach while we were in Daytona and try to get some good 18 month pictures of Emerson. It rained a lot while we were there so I didn't think I was going to get a chance. The day before we left, she woke up at 6:30 so I grabbed my camera and off the the beach we went. I had a lot to weed through, so these are some of my favorites. Hope you enjoy!

BigStuf '08 - Dayton Beach Florida

The last week of July, we went to BigStuf Camps in Daytona Beach, FL. It is not exactly like the camp I grew up going to. We stay at the Hilton on the beach and walk across the street to the conference center for the sessions. I have to say, I think I like it a lot! We went last year also and had a great time. Here are a few pictures from our week.
