Christmas in Mississippi

We had a great time in Mississippi for Christmas. We got there the Sunday before Christmas and left on New Year's Eve, so we were there for a whole week. We had a great time all being together and for so long!

Santa revisited

We went back to the mall today to try to get a better pciture with Santa, but Emerson was not in the mood to be out of Daddy's arms. He tried to woo her with a lollipop but she was still unhappy. It got progressivly worse rapidly! See for yourself:

The Duck Cake

We had a shower for our friend Summer Oswalt to celebrate her third baby. I made this cake for the shower and was pretty pleased with it. I think it turned out pretty well for an amatuer. Notice the three little ducks around the mommy duck.

We had our playgroup at the mall today. We ate lunch together and rode the train. We had quite a crowd and had lots of fun!

For those of you who don't know, the Wakefield's (Greg, Sandi, Mason & Katie Beth) got a dog this summer. Needless to say, it has been a little difficult on Brooks. Matt keeps calling Brooks an old man when he is around Banks. Banks just wants to play and have fun and Brooks wants none of it! They have stayed together in Banks' yard a couple of times and even ended up playing together before the stay was over. Banks is rapidly outgrowing Brooks but Brooks seems to be holding his own. Just thought you might want to see how cute they are.

Meeting Santa

We went to meet Santa for the first time. She actually did very well. No fussing at all. The second pictures is at the pet store. We visited that first to get her happy before we went to see Santa. We went at night, so the lighting is really bad. We'll have to go again during the day and hopefully we can get some better pictures. Merry Christmas!!!
