Emerson found Mimi's camera and took a bunch of pictures of herself. Here are some of the ones that turned out. Pretty funny!

Christmas in Nashville

We were able to go to Nashville, TN and be with Matt's family for Christmas. Matt's parents came up from Texas and we all stayed at Brent (Matt's brother) & Julie's house. We had such a great time. I had mentioned in my last post about how long it had been since his family had seen Emerson. She warmed up to them pretty quick and had a great week.

We did some shopping (of course), got to see some friends while we were in town and went to Opryland Hotel. Here are a bunch of pictures. I always have such a difficult time weeding them down. So, this time there are a lot of small ones. If you want to see one of the pictures bigger, just click on it and it will come up.

Since we now have our video camera fixed, hopefully I can work on getting some video on here. That's my goal at least!

On the road again...

We are on the road again as I type. This is my first time to do a post on my phone (technology is crazy). I just took the picture below and Emerson is sleeping soundly. We are on our way to Nashville, TN to spend Christmas with Matt's family. We are so excited for everyone to be able to see Emerson. Brent & Julie saw her at her birthday party last January, Renee saw her this summer and Ron hasn't seen her since last Thanksgiving. They don't know the fun they are in for. Hopefully we will be there around supper time. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Crazy Weather

This weather we have had has been crazy. It was cool this weekend, but since then it has been mid to upper 70's. Today as I write this it is 78 degrees! When Emerson got home from Mother Morning Out today we played outside for an hour and a half. It is December 17th! Crazy! Tomorrow's high is 82. At least I can take advantage of it and wear flip flops!

The challenge will be to not get sick when we leave for Nashville on Sunday. The forcast is upper 30's and low 40's for highs. I'm looking forward to the colder weather (and hopefully possible snow) but hoping we can skip getting sick.
