Chehaw with Papa and Nana

My parents were here a couple of weeks ago to keep Mason, Kaite Beth and Emerson while we went to a conference in Atlanta. I'm so glad they were able to come a few days early so we got to see them too. We took advantage of the great weather and went to Chehaw Animal Park. Emerson loves to see all of the animals.

Pigtails

We tried pigtails for the fist time last night. It definitely took both of us to make it happen. She's not a fan of me messing with her hair. After I finished, Matt ran to the mirror so she could see how cute she was before she took them out. She doesn't look at that impressed at first, but she seemed to warm up to them. Since it was Wednesday night she got a lot of attention at church. My little girl is growing up!

Spontaneous Fun

Emerson and I were in the backyard watering the plants the other day. When we got to the patio, I set her down to continue watering and she reached her hand into the stream of water. It rolled down her arm and her dress was soaked after only a few minutes. She was having so much fun playing in the water, so I took her dress off and she continued to play for at least 20 minutes. I gave Matt the hose so I could go inside and grab my camera. I love spontaneous moments like this and I had to capture it with my camera. I know I took over 100 pictures, so here are just a few from our fun time.

We decided to hook up the sprinkler that we have never used this summer.

Lennon Arlin Smith

I got to take pictures of baby Lennon last week. He is still so little. It had been awhile since I had taken pictures of a 2 1/2 week old. He was awake most of the time and was quite smiley (as you'll see). It is so neat to see a mother so in love with her child. Brittney sure is!

Tickle Fingers

We went to Chuck E Cheese for playgroup and went to eat at the food court after we played. Emerson was having fun tickling Jackson and he seemed to be having fun too. Summer was able to capture this video on her phone.
